Painted entirely by hand, this large ceramic plate is a prime example of traditional Fajalauza pottery. Couched in a ceramic tradition that has lasted more than 500 years, our artisans make each piece with care and attention to detail.
This earthenware plate boasts a beautiful wreath of pomegranate flowers in the center and an abstract motif of stacked sea shells on the outer rim. This design falls within the traditional Fajalauza style we call repintado or all-over ornamentation.
Decorated in a vibrant cobalt blue over a white-glazed surface, this charming design pairs well with other blue and white ceramics.
Though used as decorative plates in wall displays, our pottery is perfectly suitable for the table.
These plates are produced in an exclusive collaboration with our artisan partners in southern Spain.
