Decorated in cobalt blue over a white-glazed surface, the design features a pomegranate and a floral wreath in the center.
Dubbed alberca from the Arabic for water reservoir, this design is a nod to Andalusia’s Nasrid legacy. The Nasrids who employed water as a central element in landscape design built huge reservoirs through Granada to feed their fountains, ponds, and lush gardens like the Generalife.
